"You can talk negatively about it when you are with me", he said with a soft smile. "I want you to be yourself with me."

"i hate it", and there was a small pause. his eyes searched the space, clearly making sure that noone spend attention to them or listened to what he was saying. "i hate who i am. not...as a person, but what my name stand for", he sighted. "i mean.. i hate being a prince. I just...i want to life a quiet live, move somewhere were noone knows me", he had to laugh himself. "i must sound ridiculous! But i'd switch places with you in an instant. there...are reasons why..well, why my present even as a royal is more to the background than from anyone else in the family", he bite his lips, clearly hesitant

Of course he didn't miss the look in Alex's eyes. He could clearly see how hesitant the other was and, well, how hard It was for him to talk about it. Without even realising it, he moved his body between Alex and the entrance, shielding him from anyone who might see him like that. His eyes were fixed on Alex and he didn't interrupt him once. "You don't sound ridiculous", was the first thing he said once Alex was done. "I can't even imagine how your life must be like. Sure, people like me who aren't royalty only see the bright sides of your life. Well, I wouldn't call it bright, but you know what I mean. We only get to see what your family wants us to see." That made sense, right? He didn't want to confuse Alex. "But everybody who even puts a little bit of thought into it has to see, that this can't be everything. That there are much more things which are kept behind closed door. And we don't have a clue what these things might be. So no, I don't think that you sound ridiculous." He gave him a reassuring smile. Before he could say more, Maria was already calling for him. "Just a second." He squeezed Alex's shoulder and quickly went over to the counter, paying their order and getting the boxes. Once back at Alex's side, he gave him another smile. "Let's walk back? If you still feel like talking, we can continue there. I.... It's probably feels better to talk about such things when we are in a privat room."

he took a deep breath, why was he opening up to this guy? they basically didnt know each other. But the words he gave him..he looked rather surprised at Elias. it clearly was not something, he had expected to hear from someone else that wasnt casein. He just nooded and looked after him how he picked up the pizza boxes. "i can carry them?", he offered but already stepped outside when Elias opened the door for him and followed. Together walking back. "to be fair..you are lucky the press hasnt realized yet i am here. they are terrible little cockroaches and follow us on step after step. If you just as much as sneeze in public...they amke sure its headlining!@

He was glad that Alex hadn't closed off while he had had to pick up the boxes. Sure, he didn't mention if he wanted to talk about it, but he wasn't distancing himself and that was already a huge win in his eyes. "The press really sucks", he agreed. "Not like I have been followed by them, but I'e seen enough videos on the internet on how they treat people of public interest. It's the worst." He shook his head with a sigh. "I can't understand how some people can have so little respect for others. That's just... beyond me." It was sad, to be honest. Really sad. "I guess I always thought they would be nicer to you, because, well.... your royal." A chuckle left his lips. "This must sound pretty stupid, but I don't know. I mean we don't actually have a royal family in Argentina, so I never really knew too much about these kind of things, but even we sometimes get news of the British royal house." Not enough to make him actually realise who Alex had been. "It always sounded like the people really loved you and so I guessed, well, that people were treating you better."

He softly shook his head. "There is this...unspoken rule if you may say. We ate basically public property. It got drilled into us how to speak..how to walk... a lit really. I can not remember anything else. I remember how my father gave out to me when I was 5 years old and I refused in public to shake hands of some military guys. To be fair I was fucking 5 and scared by these huge ass guys in uniform. But that is unacceptable", hw sighted and shook his head again. Opening the door to his apartment complex to let him walk in first. "There is a lot that isn't showen. We are drilled to show off this perfect life. It's all an image"

He felt a strong urge to reach out and touch Alex, but he knew that he couldn't which broke his heart even more. Not just hearing the things Alex said, but also remembering the fact that Alex couldn't receive affection like this. It was just.... heartbreaking. "This... wow, I don't even know what to say." He could search for some big words and try to make it better, but what use was in that? There was nothing which would make it better! So sticking to the truth was the only reasonable thing to do. Once they were back in the safety of his apartment complex, he reached out right away and took Alex's hand into his own. "I'm really sorry that you had to go trough that. No father should treat his child like that. No matter if he is a king or not."

Hegave him a sad smile. "It's fine..I.. I get a lot of privacy now. Not thst it was hardly earned or anything", he sighted and softly grabbed on to alias hand. And for a weird part..he didn't even care if someone saw them or not! Which was a first. He leaned onto the elevator wall and then leaned into alias body, softly sighting. "My family is rather hesitant to show me off anymore.there...was an accident a few years back. At least they like to call it that way"

He leaned his head against Alex's, listening to his words. "An accident?", he asked before the elevator doors opened. Stepping into his apartment, he pulled Alex straight over to the couch. Sitting down, he laced the two boxes on the couch table and pulled Alex into his arms. "What happened?"

He couldn't even react as much as he was on the sofa and in his arms. A soft sigh leaving his lips while he basically cuddled himself into his arms. "I" he sighted again. He had never talked to anyone about it. It wad this unspoken reality in his life. "When I was 19 ... I tried to kill myself", he then admitted. "I just couldn't take it anymore. I just wanted it to stop. I am better now. Much better. I would never to do this again and I know it was wrong. But back then it seamed like the only way out"

His fingers softly stroked over Alex's arm, trying to comfort him while the other was clearly struggling with his words. Once the other finally managed to say what had happened, he felt a wave of shock rush through his heart. Well, shit. This clearly hadn't been what he had expected to hear and he needed a few moments to gather his thoughts again. "I'm really sorry that you reached a point where this felt like the only solution", he quietly said. "I can't imagine how hard life must have been for you." It was hard to imagine what it took for a humanbto think that death was better then life. "I'm... I'm glad you're still here." He pulled him a bit more tightly against his body. "And your dead is still preassuring you into this life? Even though he knows what it nearly made you do?"

He softly slung his arms around him, leaning his head against his chest. "My father hasn't even acknowledged what happened. They just locked me away in the Palace, told the world I was abroad in Africa doing charity work", he sighted. "I wasn't even allowed in the garden. I had noone to talk to besides my brother. It was...a weird time", he took a deep breath. "I am better now. Not thanks to them but because I wanted to get better. Which still doesn't mean I like being a prince, I despise it to be honest"

"I.... wow", he breathed. "I don't even know what to say." How could a father treat his child like that?! "What about your mother? Did... did she not care either?" He was extremely close to all of his family members and just couldn't understand how anybody could do something like that!

He sighted. "My mother is...a distant woman. She cares more about James. As he is the heir to the throne", he shrugged his shoulders. "I told you my family and I...we are not close. Its a lot of protocols and rules and stuff.. its not a nice place. " he softly looked up and into his eyes. "Youbdont have to worry. I am much better now"

He softly stroked through his hair. "But you talked about another brother. You seem to be close with him?" From the way he had mentioned James, he could only guess that he wasn't said brother. "I'm glad that you are doing better", he honestly said. "But I want you to know, that you can always reach out to me in case you will ever need someone to talk to."
